My name is Yusuf Salah Elhajjar. I am a Palestinian, aged 28, from Gaza City. Nowadays I live in Norway. As for my academic qualifications, I hold an MA degree in Arabic/English translation from Durham University in the U.K (2004-2005). Actually, I take pride in the fact that I was able to finish off my Master's degree in 10 months and graduate with distinction! I managed to do my MA degree by obtaining a full merit-based scholarship organized by Durham Palestine Educational Trust in the UK.
In addition, I hold a BA degree in English language and literature (1999-2003) from the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG). I managed to do my BA degree after obtaining a full 4-year, merit-based, Presidential scholarship, which was a reward for scoring the highest grades over all male students in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, when I graduated from high school with the average 96,2% in the literary stream in 1999.
